Childhood Interests to live in the first exclusive exclusive stereoscopic photography exhibition Bahrain

I am happy to announce my ongoing photography exhibition Ana-glyph: Stereoscopic journey to the soul of BahrainCurrently displayed in the center of Rotana Hotel in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. This project is very close to my heart, because it revives an idea that I have fertilized for 16 years, inspired by simple toys from my childhood: 3D viewers views of firefighters.

As a child, I spent hours peeking through the ruler of view, fascinated by how the small picture roll opens a clear and layered world. The initial interest with stereoscopy never left me and quietly formed my vision as a photographer.

Although spending more than 20 years of building a career in commercial photography, some of me always want to review this nostalgic desire in my own creative way. Over the years, I postpone him, telling myself that I am too busy or worried whether the audience will appreciate this distinctive approach.

What finally encouraged me to pursue it was my deep love for Bahrain. After living and working here for 16 years, I want to pay homage to this beautiful country and invite people to see it and have a new perspective that is deep.

Today, I am proud to present 20 large format stereoscopic images that capture Bahrain iconic landmarks and hidden gems. The response was really encouraging, with visitors expressed their excitement in experiencing Bahrain in this unexpected way. I am also fortunate to have an exhibition displayed at print and social media outlets in Bahrain.

This trip has revived my creative spirit. I am currently working on two new series, which I hope will be revealed by the end of this year. It is my sincere hope that this work will continue to offer fresh lens viewers in the places they care about as well as my childhood views that have been done for me.

PS The reason I separate the word “anaglyph” is that “ana” means “me” in Arabic.
