America’s 250th anniversary takes place in 2026, and states, cities, and tourist attractions across the country are offering a range of exciting events for families to take part in the celebration. Theme parks and Americana go hand in hand, and You can’t go wrong with any US-based itinerary to celebrate America 250. However, if you’re wondering which parks offer unique celebrations for this particular summer season, look no further.

Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World usually puts on an all-out fireworks display on the Fourth of July, but this Independence Day will be especially memorable. It starts with a “Disney Celebrates America” 24-hour broadcast. over the Fourth of July holiday weekend on Disney+, ABC, ESPN and more.

The broadcast will end with an exciting fireworks display broadcast live from Magic Kingdom. The park’s annual event “Disney Celebrates America! — Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will be part of the celebration. There will be plenty of opportunities to view this special fireworks display, which will be held on July 3, 4 and 5.

EPCOT typically participates in Independence Day celebrations with its own fireworks display, “The Heartbeat of Freedom,” which was the end of his spectacular evening performance, Luminous The Symphony of Us, on July 4th. Speaking of EPCOT, guests can experience the latest version of Soarin’ in celebration of America 250. Soaring Across America will debut over Memorial Day Weekend.

Disneyland Park will be featured “Disney Celebrates America! — Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” on July 3, 4, and 5. Fireworks will also be part of the “Disney Celebrates America” broadcast.

Soaring Across America will also come Disney California Adventure. It looks like West Coast Disney visitors will have to wait a little longer to see the new Soarin debut, as an opening date has now been announced. July 2, 2026. Like EPCOT, this will be a “limited time itinerary.”

Dollywood’s Sweet Summer Nights drone show will light up the sky every night for Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration (running from June 15 to August 2) with a “dazzling patriotic salute.”

Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, also celebrated America’s 250th anniversary in a big way. The amusement park is offers free season passports to all active duty US military, made possible through a partnership with Arvest Bank. The park will also recognize military personnel Hero Appreciation Day through the 2026 season.

Summer festivities kick off May 9 at the park’s Echo Hollow Amphitheater with a special patriotic concert featuring musical artists such as The Presleys, The Petersons, Clay Cooper & his Band, The Haygoods and Mike Patrick of Grand Country Music Hall.

Silver Dollar City summer fireworks and drone shows will light up the sky to celebrate America. You also have to pay attention to it special menu items across from park ffeasting on the stars’ festive “spinned twists on classic favorites,” including a a special Coca-Cola flavor honoring America created especially for Silver Dollar City.
