The Brian May Stereoscopy archive has announced the 3-D presentation directly given by the photo historian Denis Pellerin: ‘Music and musicians in the stereoscope’. This event will be held as part of the Stereoscopy Day celebration on Saturday June 21, starting at 13:30 at the Church of St. Mary Le Strand, London.
‘Charles Wheatstone presented its discovery of stereoscopes to the Royal Society of London on June 21, 1838, which is why the date was chosen as an international stereoscopic day. Because it also happened to be World Music Day and because Wheatstone is also a musical instrument maker and inventor of musical instruments, why not come and celebrate with us Charles Wheatstone, music and stereoscopy with Victoria images – and newer – newer, most of which are mostly Brian May Archive of Stereoscopy.
Free entrance but there is a maximum capacity of 120 in the church, so if you want to spend a special day in the heart of London and find more about the relationship between music and stereoscopy because you have never experienced it before, order your ticket now! ‘

If you cannot hold direct talks, don’t be afraid, BMA has made sure it is international for Stereoscopy Day, and the free online version will start at 18:30 BST on June 21. Please find details and links to registration on the Stereoscopy Day website.
