Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady: Mother-Child’s Journey from New York City

When we sailed past the Liberty statue, I bowed to make a champagne toast with my mother. We do not celebrate something important, but whenever we are sailing together -the same as worthy of glasses and inhaled a glass of bubble. This time, we sailed on the new Virgin Voyages Voyages, Brilliant Lady, on Putied’s shipping from New York City.

After an easy embarkation from the 90 pier in New York City, we sailed on our way to our port, Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda. During the next five nights, my mother and I had extraordinary dinner and the best ice cream in the sea, spent time on a private roof deck, and saw some of the most unique Virgin entertainment.

Brilliant Lady is placed almost the same as other cruise ships Virgin Voyages, with only a slight difference in several locations, such as the onboard ships and the main swimming pool is slightly larger. After sailing with Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady before, this makes a brilliant woman quite easy because I am used to the layout of each deck.

There is a lot of space to enjoy the wild on the ship. I like deck 7 outdoor space, which features sofas and lounge chairs, but without the atmosphere of a swimming pool party. This is a good place to relax, read books, or just enjoy the view of the sea.

Then there is Richard’s Rooftop, a private sunbathing place for those who live in your arrogance level cabin, called Virgin Rockstar. Space has a comfortable day bed, lots of traditional lounge seats, private bars, and hot bathtubs. Even better, every day from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, Richard’s Rooftop hosts Sunset Hour, where champagne flows free when the bartenders walk around the area with bubble bottles and continue to fill your glass.

There were a few days when the weather was not on our side, and many people gathered inside at the roundabout, a virgin version of the central atrium, or along the corridor deck 7, where social clubs and pier houses offer games, entertainment, and food in the room. I finally put our suitcase in the closet, which was not ideal.

The bathroom is a standard cruise bathroom, but heavy rain is a good touch, and strong water pressure is a surprise that is welcomed. Outside on the balcony, a set of two metal chairs and small cafe tables are available for use, as well as a typical red hanging bed of Virgin from yellow leaf hanging bed. I use a hanging bed several times, and that is a good way to relax between activities.

Entertainment at Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady

Virgin Voyages is famous for its alive entertainment ranging from live bands to unique dinner shows and performances that bring the right action to your seat. In brilliant women, there are seven new new production, plus several favorite favorite. The two main areas on boats for entertainment are The Red Room and The Manor. In the red space, you can see out of time, a show that will take you back to the 1920s and so on on a wild journey through history. From when I walked to Manor for dinner, I was greeted with stage girls who dripped diamonds in the sunglasses of Martini that were bigger than life, a magician who did a close magic, and a series of canapes that were passed even before I sat for dinner. Then the night ended with a big billiard party while a DJ played the hottest hit. Although Scarlet Night eventually became a very late night, it was always fun to dance all night under stars.

When Lady Brilliant goes to Alaska next summer, the red room will be a place. This room will function as a host for Scarlet Night when the weather is too cold or too rainy for outdoor billiard parties.

Eat at Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady

There is no lack of brilliant eating women, and almost all of that is included in your shipping rates. I like Virgin ice cream and pizza, which is located right next to each other. The taste of hard ice cream changes every day (my favorite is orange-ricotta and blackberry sorbet), and all pizza are fired and present in one personal size 8 inch (although any size pizza is a private sized pizza if you try hard enough). Other fast casual choices include the kitchen, the concept of food space with stations that serve taco, burgers, ramen, sandwiches, and more. Then there is a “special eating” restaurant, which is more like a restaurant on land versus a special restaurant eating on other cruise ships. Wake presents vibrations of big city steakhouses with steaks and cooked sides according to orders, and pink agave makes some fantastic high -class Mexico foods in the sea. One of the new additions for brilliant women, and my favorite restaurant on the ship, is Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, a new view of the original Razzle Dazzle restaurant on other Virgin ships. The new iteration is a restaurant inspired by Spain that feels warm and comfortable. The menu has a variety of tapas that can be shared and larger appetizers. Do not miss the croquette from the tapas or churros made of home with chocolate sauce from the dessert menu.

If I have to describe the brilliant woman Virgin Voyages in one word, it will be lively. From entertainment and a combination of eating to crew and onboard space, every thing is really fun. The crew ensured that each guest was well guarded, whether they present dinner or ensure prime spaces for night parties. For five nights, my mother and I were on the boat, we experienced some of the most interesting shows in the sea, enjoyed the leading place to eat, and spent time outside in the deck of a swimming pool to capture some of the last summer rays in New York City.
